Whether you’re getting ready for your freshman or senior year, the back-to-school buzz is always infectious. But high school students, and especially private high schoolers, have special considerations when it comes to making those preschool purchases.

• Uniform
  Don’t just assume that last year’s outfit will fit perfectly on the first day of school if it’s been gathering moths in the back of your closet all summer.   Do you need a laptop or tablet for your schoolwork? Many private high schools can take advantage of technology in the classroom because of their small size: 86% of schools have fewer than 300 students, and private high schools are often less than half the size of their public counterparts. Don’t get left in the digital dust!
• Pens and Paper
  That said, private school teachers can be notoriously old-fashioned. Make sure to have a fresh stock of notebooks, pens, and pencils for those instructors who prefer to keep their classrooms “analog.”
• Extracurricular Supplies

  But don’t forget about your academics! High school especially is a time where you need to hit the books. Studying for the SATs? Get yourself plenty of index cards. Keep everything organized with separate binders for separate subjects. You’ll be acing those quizzes in no time!
