This video will explore the different types of forklifts and their distinct features.
Manual Palette Truck
A pallet truck that is manually operated is the simplest and most affordable kind of forklift. It’s an iron machine with a hydraulic pump that is operated by the user. It pumps upwards and downwards to raise the palettes of the ground. To secure the pallet, two prongs from steel are used.
Power Palette Trucks
Power palette trucks are the electric version of the traditional palette truck. Electric motors lift them instead of the person pumping them manually.
Four-Wheel Counter Balance Forklift
The most sought-after forklift. To stop the forklift from tipping over, they are equipped with two forks and an additional to balance the weight in the rear. There are versions that run using diesel, and some which run on electricity.
Reach Trucks
Reach trucks feature an extended reach height, that allows them to put the objects and elevate them high. Reach trucks make a wonderful addition to warehouses that have multiple levels.
The list of options is endless of the sources that this was derived from. More details on the different models of forklifts on this video.
